This shingle-style house plan has an invitingly nostalgic look, while its interior boasts a floor plan designed with a contemporary family in mind.
The two-story, four-bedroom home has an expansive great room on the ground floor, as well as a vaulted recreation room on the second level.
A railed porch extends to the left of the vaulted entry, which is framed by tapered columns and crowned by a king post and struts. Natural light spills into the entry hall through a framed glass panel in the top half of the door, plus sidelights and transom windows.
Double doors open into a living room on the left. Or make it a home office or study instead.
Just past the coat closet and stairway, the hallway opens out into a great room with a ceiling that's two stories in height. Windows on the far side frame and arch over the gas fireplace on two levels.
Ceiling height drops to nine feet where the great room transitions into the dining room and kitchen.
Sliding glass doors offer access to a partially covered patio, and a spacious kitchen fills the left end. A raised eating bar rims the large work island where it fronts the dining area, and a roomy walk-in pantry completely fills one corner.
Direct access to the garage is just around the corner from the kitchen, along with a pass-through utility room that leads to a bathroom and a guest room.
The spacious owners' suite fills the 's entire right wing. Amenities here include a large walk-in closet and another smaller one, plus a luxurious bathroom with a spa tub, over-sized shower, double vanity, and totally private toilet.
Two more bedrooms and a bathroom are upstairs.

Each plan set is drawn at 1/4"=1' scale and includes the following drawings:
Cover Sheet/Artist's Rendering: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front, and general construction notes.
Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors, & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
Second Floor Plan (if any): Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details. Foundation types vary; please call to confirm the foundation type of the plan you are interested in.
Roof Framing Plan: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. Details are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints.
Building Section: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation.
Electrical Plan: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches, and electrical outlets.

Mechanical Drawings (location of heating and air equipment and duct work) - your subcontractors handle this
