This one-story modern transitional home plan is largely influenced by house plan 340040STR. Its contemporary lines are highlighted by standing seam metal hipped
rooflines, broad overhangs, bracketed details and stone quoin wall
accents.
The portico features an impressive
16’ to 18’-high ceiling, as does the foyer beyond. This all leads to the great room with its 16’-high beamed ceiling. The great room contains a
linear fireplace/TV wall and flanking built-ins. Pocketing glass doors
overlook the loggia beyond.
The kitchen and nook look out onto the great room. The central island makes
for easy entertaining and buffet settings and features a pass-thru and a
walk in pantry as well. The nook has a corner-less sliding
glass wall system. The formal dining room to the right and front is open to the great room and features a walk in wine cellar immediately to the left.
Off of the nook is a gallery leading
to the home’s cabana, guest bath and the first of three guest suites.
The cabana has views to the rear of home and the patio area.
To the left of the home is the study/home office which looks out onto the great room. Beyond that is
the master foyer with double doors. The master suite features sliding
glass doors that lead out onto the loggia. The master bath is entered
through a beamed gallery, past two walk-in closets as well as a
purse/shoe closet. The master bath has a free standing island whirlpool
tub, dual vanities, private water closet, large walk in
shower, linen and private access to a 1-car garage.
To the right of the home, accessed
by a gallery leading to the main garage, are the other two guest suites
with private baths and walk in closets, as well as a spacious utility
room. The main two car garage has a large walk in storage closet for
those larger items.
